Samantha Darnell

Samantha Darnell is originally from Thousand Oaks, California. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.A. in Political Science and a M.A. in Public Policy, with a double emphasis in International Relations and Economics. Prior to attending law school, she worked for McBeard Media in Los Angeles. During her 1L summer, she worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Frank R. Zapata of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. After her 2L year, she was a summer associate at Eversheds Sutherland in Atlanta. She currently serves as President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and Ambassador for the Office of Admissions, and works as a research assistant for Professor Jim Seckinger. Outside of law school, you will undoubtedly find her with her rescue pit bull, Kenzie.
