Michael Benson

Originally from the chicken wing town with a sports problem (Buffalo, New York), Michael has focused his law school studies on intellectual property. He plans to practice in the field of patent law following graduation from Notre Dame. Michael received his undergraduate degree in mathematical physics from the University at Buffalo. Since arriving at Notre Dame, Michael has been actively involved in the Intellectual Property Law Society. Last summer, he interned at the United States District Court for the Western District of New York as well as served as a research assistant for Notre Dame’s Professor Yelderman. This summer, Michael is working at a small firm in Buffalo and concentrating on patent prosecution and trademark infringement issues.
