
C.J. grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. He graduated from Rice University in 2024 with a degree in Political Science. While completing his degree, C.J. worked as an intern for U.S. Congressman Dan Crenshaw in Houston and Washington, D.C., and as a policy analyst for State Senator Brandon Creighton in the Texas Capitol. At Notre Dame, he is a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and a member of the Mock Trial Team. During his 1L summer, C.J. interned for the Honorable Brian C. Wimes of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and at the law firm Kuckelman Torline Kirkland in Kansas City. He will be returning to Kansas City as a 2L summer associate at Husch Blackwell.
