Brian O’Gara

Brian is from Long Island, NY. He attended Davidson College and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Religious Studies.  Brian has served as the Treasurer of the Intellectual Property Law Society and is also a member of the Hispanic Law Students Association.  During his 1L summer, Brian worked as a research assistant to Professor Mark McKenna.  During his 2L summer, Brian was a summer associate for Winston & Strawn in Chicago.  After graduation, Brian will be returning to Winston & Strawn as a Litigation Associate.  In his free time, Brian enjoys travelling, playing sports, and going for walks with his dog, Bear.

Cesar Estrada

Cesar Estrada is originally from Manzanillo, Mexico, where he lived until he immigrated to the U.S. when he was a child. Cesar has considered many places home, including Texas, Indiana, and, most recently, New York. Soon to be a “double domer,” Cesar received his BA from the University of Notre Dame with majors in Theology, Political Science, and Latino Studies. Prior to law school, Cesar worked as a trial paralegal at the New York County District Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. Following 1L, Cesar was a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Delaware. Cesar hopes to return to New York after graduating from Notre Dame. At NDLS, Cesar is involved with the LGBT Law Forum, Hispanic Law Student Association, and NLG. Outside of the law school, Cesar is a member of the Notre Dame Glee Club.

Jeffrey Meehan

Jeff is originally from Bristol, Connecticut. He graduated from Fordham University in 2016 with degrees in History, Political Science, and Middle East Studies.

Prior to law school, Jeff worked as an investigative analyst in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. While there, he was assigned to the Special Victims Bureau and Violent Criminal Enterprises Unit and assisted in the prosecution of child abuse, gun trafficking, and gang-related homicide cases. During his 1L summer, he worked as a research assistant to Professor Jimmy Gurulé, supporting his forthcoming work in counterterrorism law.

When he’s not at the law school, Jeff can be found riding his Peloton bike, listening to podcasts, and tweeting about the New York Giants.

Maria Bandwen

Maria Bandwen is from Cleveland, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree. While at Ohio State, Maria studied Finance and English. During her time at NDLS, Maria spent her 1L summer working for the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission’s New York Regional Office, where she assisted in ongoing investigations related to bankruptcy. She spent her 2L summer as a summer associate at King & Spalding in their New York office in their transactional group, where she will be returning after graduation. Outside of school, Maria enjoys playing tennis with her family.

Noah Brown

Noah is from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison before serving as an AmeriCorps Leader with Habitat for Humanity. Prior to law school, he also served as a Paralegal for Tabak Law in Milwaukee. During his 1L summer, he worked as a remote intern for the Department of Social Services in New York City.  Noah spent his 2L summer as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas Rose in the Southern District of Ohio.
