Ambris was born in Chennai, India and immigrated to the United States when he was 7. He grew up in Carol Stream, Illinois and graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Economics. After graduation, he served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer and was medically retired from service due to a parachuting accident. At NDLS, he is an Moot Court Board Oralist and member of the Military and Veterans Law Society. During his 1L summer, he worked as an intern to the Hon. John Robert Blakey, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Nicole is originally from Wilmington, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. During her 1L summer, she worked for the New York office of the Federal Trade Commission within their Bureau of Competition. She spent her 2L summer with the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office in Wilmington, Ohio doing civil work. After graduation, Nicole will be returning to Columbus, Ohio to join Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease in the Corporate Group where she will work on a variety of corporate transactional matters. In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading fiction, watching sports, and attending classes at OrangeTheory Fitness.  

Nate is from Kenosha, WI. He studied Accounting and Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame in undergrad. Having lived on campus in undergrad, he is very excited about being an Assistant Rector in St. Edward’s Hall this year. Nate was an extern for Judge John Robert Blakey in the Northern District of Illinois the summer after his 1L year. Most recently, he worked as a Private Client & Wealth Management summer associate at McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago, where he will be returning after graduation. Nate is the fourth of six kids, all of whom have at least one degree from Our Lady’s University.

Megan Aschenbrenner is from Tampa, Florida. She attended Florida State University and graduated with a degree in Neuropsychology and Criminology. Before law school she taught English abroad for one year in the Czech Republic and another year in South Korea. During her 1L summer she was a research assistant for Professor Julian Velasco. Most recently, she worked as a summer associate at Frost Brown Todd in Nashville, where she will be returning after graduation.
