Kathryn Zoller

Kathryn Zoller is from Caledonia, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan and majored in history. In addition to JLEPP, she has been involved in FPAC and the Women’s Legal Forum at Notre Dame Law School. She worked for Dickson Wright in Grand Rapids as a summer associate during her 1L summer, and was an intern at the Grand Rapids City Attorney’s Office during her 2L summer. Kathryn plans to return to Grand Rapids following her graduation. During the previous summer, she began helping her dad work on and show his 1979 Z-28 Camaro.

Sam Rumbach

Sam was born and raised in Jasper, IN and grew up a huge Notre Dame fan. He attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and graduated in 2015 with a degree in economics. Sam came to NDLS after working for two years in corporate finance. After his first year of law school, Sam worked as an intern at the Notre Dame Tax Clinic, where he represented low-income clients in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. He spent the following summer as a summer associate at Baker McKenzie in Chicago, and he plans to return to the firm as a full-time associate after graduation. Sam really enjoys playing tennis and golf and is a self-proclaimed sports junkie.

Raymond Cordova

Originally from Boca Raton, FL, Raymond attended The College at Southeastern in Raleigh, NC, where he majored in history. During his 1L summer, he worked as a judicial intern at the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal and as a research assistant for Professor Jay Tidmarsh. Raymond enjoys 1960s/70s progressive rock, contemporary philosophy, and trying new coffee shops with his wife.

Thomas Marino Palisi, Jr.

Thomas Palisi is from Morganville, New Jersey, and attended Duke University for his undergraduate degree. While at Duke, Thomas majored in English literature and was a member of the varsity men’s lacrosse team. At NDLS, Thomas has served as the Vice President of Sports for the Sports, Communications, & Entertainment Law Forum. He spent his 1L summer as an associate at Barton LLP, a boutique firm in New York City. During his time at Barton, Thomas conducted legal research and drafted memoranda of law for white collar criminal investigations and various litigations in the financial services industry. He spent his 2L summer as an associate at King & Spalding in New York City in their Corporate, Finance, & Investments practice, where he will continue working after graduation. Despite being a full-blooded Italian, Thomas plays the bagpipes, and he enjoys spending his free time listening to U2 and Bruce Springsteen.

Alissa Griffin

Alissa grew up in Carmel, Indiana. For undergrad, she went to Loyola University Chicago and majored in Political Science and Communication Studies, with a minor in Business Administration. At NDLS, Alissa has served as the co-president of Legal Voices for Children & Youth and volunteers for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. She will be spending the Fall 2019 semester at NDLS’ London campus. Alissa worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney in the Juvenile Division her 1L summer. Alissa spent her 2L summer as a summer associate at Neal, Gerber, & Eisenberg in Chicago and has accepted an offer to return to the firm in their Labor & Employment practice group after finishing law school.

Peter Miles

Peter is from Westmont, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. For his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 2017 with a double major in Political Science and History and a minor in Religious Studies. At NDLS, Peter has participated in the Chicago GALILEE program, the NDLS Spring Bowling League, and the Business Law Forum. During his 1L summer, Peter worked at the City of Chicago Law Department, specializing in Collections law. This past summer, Peter was a summer associate at the Chicago-based law firm of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg (NGE). He plans to work in the Corporate & Securities practice group at NGE after graduation next May.
