Zack grew up in Boise, Idaho. He attended Boise State University where he majored in criminal justice. After undergrad, he spent five years in the military as an explosive ordnance disposal technician. Zack worked at Idaho Legal Aid Services during the summer following his first year of law school, and he hopes to practice real estate and energy law post-graduation. He enjoys anything that gets him outdoors, especially mountain biking and skiing.

Natalie Fulk is a 2L from Mahomet, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate education at Hope College and majored in History, Spanish, and Political Science. During her 1L summer, she worked at Legal Services of South Central Michigan in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where she helped to represent low-income clients in landlord-tenant and public benefits cases. She was also a research assistant for Professor Burset, which she will continue during the school year. She plans to work in public interest law after she graduates, possibly in legal aid, and she is also thinking about doing a judicial clerkship. In her free time, Natalie enjoys running, playing intramural soccer, and volunteering at the Volunteer Lawyer Network.

Courtney Seitz is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. She is a 2014 graduate of Boston College where she majored in Accounting and Marketing and minored in Philosophy. She was also a member of the Division I Varsity Volleyball team. Prior to law school, Courtney practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for a Big Four firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After her first year of law school, she interned for the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Following her second year of law school, Courtney was a summer associate at Mayer Brown. She will return to Mayer Brown after graduation. Courtney is a Moot Court Board oralist and an Accounting instructor in the Mendoza College of Business.

Alex was born and raised in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Alex attended the University of Notre Dame, majoring in political science and philosophy, and graduated in 2017. During his 2L summer, Alex worked as a summer associate with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Upon earning his JD, Alex will return to Vorys as an associate with the firm’s labor and employment practice group. During his 1L summer, Alex served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Algenon L. Marbley with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Alex served as an Assistant Rector of O’Neill Family Hall during his 2L year and is continuing in this role for his 3L year. Alex enjoys reading political theory and playing video games in his spare time.

Kathryn Zoller is from Caledonia, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan and majored in history. In addition to JLEPP, she has been involved in FPAC and the Women’s Legal Forum at Notre Dame Law School. She worked for Dickson Wright in Grand Rapids as a summer associate during her 1L summer, and was an intern at the Grand Rapids City Attorney’s Office during her 2L summer. Kathryn plans to return to Grand Rapids following her graduation. During the previous summer, she began helping her dad work on and show his 1979 Z-28 Camaro.

Sam was born and raised in Jasper, IN and grew up a huge Notre Dame fan. He attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and graduated in 2015 with a degree in economics. Sam came to NDLS after working for two years in corporate finance. After his first year of law school, Sam worked as an intern at the Notre Dame Tax Clinic, where he represented low-income clients in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. He spent the following summer as a summer associate at Baker McKenzie in Chicago, and he plans to return to the firm as a full-time associate after graduation. Sam really enjoys playing tennis and golf and is a self-proclaimed sports junkie.
