Dominic Abreu

Dominic is from Miami, Florida. In 2023, he graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Before law school, Dominic worked as an outdoor educator at Shake-A-Leg Miami, a non-profit dedicated to launching boats and dreams for children with special needs. Dominic also worked as a legal assistant at Heise Suarez Melville, P.A., a boutique litigation firm in Coral Gables, Florida.

During his 1L summer, Dominic interned for the Honorable Rodolfo A. Ruiz II at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Currently, Dominic serves as an Assistant Rector for Notre Dame’s Morrissey Hall. For his 2L summer, he will work as a Summer Associate at Holland & Knight’s Miami office.

In his free time, Dominic likes spending time with family, going to the beach, photography, and running.
