Jimmy Murphy

Jimmy Murphy is a 2L from Minneapolis, Minnesota and a former Division 1 football player from VMI. He spent his 1L summer interning for the Navy JAG Corps in Washington, D.C., and serving as a research assistant to Professor Ilan Wurman. He will spend his 2L summer at Sidley Austin. At Notre Dame, he serves as a research assistant to Professor Nicole Stelle Garnett and as the Membership Coordinator for the Notre Dame Federalist Society. After graduation, he will clerk for Judge Taylor B. McNeel on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and reading the Bible.
