Kylie Barber

Kylie is from Volant, Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude from Penn State, where she majored in Mechanical Engineering with a minored in Mechatronics. At Penn State, she was co-Student Marshall for Mechanical Engineering and graduated with honors through the Schreyer Honors College, completing a research thesis on compliant origami swimming robots. Before Kylie attended law school, she worked for John Deere Construction and Forestry, where she assisted in testing for engines and hydraulics and worked with their in-house legal team on intellectual property and litigation issues. Kylie was a 1L Summer Associate for Dinsmôre and Shohl in their patent prosecution practice group and will be returning to Dinsmôre for her 2L summer as well as full-time after graduation. Outside of law school, Kylie enjoys blacksmithing, woodworking, hiking, and running with her twin sister.
