Madeleine Filak

Madeleine is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In 2022 she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with dual degrees in Political Science and Art History. In 2023, before returning to South Bend for law school, she received a master’s degree in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art. During her 1L summer, Madeleine served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Sean Cox of the Eastern District of Michigan and as a summer associate for the firm Kienbaum Hardy Viviano Pelton Forrest. Madeleine currently serves as the Vice President of Programming for the Hispanic Law Student Association and as an Assistant Rector in Breen Phillips Hall.
