Maria Lake

Maria Lake grew up in Northwest Indiana. She is a Double Domer, having graduated from the University of Notre Dame with majors in Political Science and Japanese, and a minor in Theology. In the year before law school, Maria taught English in Hokkaido, Japan, as a part of the JET Program. She currently serves as the President of the Public Interest Law Forum, a Student Bar Association 2L Representative, and the Women’s Legal Forum’s Director of Service. She spent her 1L summer at the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Office of Legal Services. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading at Lake Michigan, and learning how to play new lawn games.
