Matt is originally from Winnetka, Illinois. He attended Clemson University and graduated with honors. Before law school, he worked as a teacher and coach for Northridge Preparatory School for two and a half years. In addition to the Journal, Matt currently serves as a 2L representative for the Notre Dame Exoneration Project. He spent his one L summer as an extern for the Hon. Judge Amy St. Eve, aiding with research, writing bench memos and observing court proceedings. In his free time Matt likes to read, exercise, cook, spend time with his family/dogs and being outdoors.
