The Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy offers members the opportunity to engage with a variety of important policy issues while honing their writing and editing skills.
Each year, a select group of about twenty-five to thirty rising 2L students at the Notre Dame Law School is invited to join. 2L members write an article of intellectual and moral significance for publication by the Journal, edit articles, and assist with production work. 3L members assume leadership positions on the Journal. The Journal extends offers to students based on their writing competition results (editing assignment and a note), GPA, and short personal statement. We meticulously select students who are in equal parts academically accomplished and morally principled.
1L students will receive more information on the entire Notre Dame Law School journal selection process and on the writing competition during their second semester. We invite you to connect with our team for more information.
