Ryan Hocking

Ryan Hocking is originally from Middlefield, Connecticut. He graduated cum laude, with departmental honors from Miami University (OH) with a double major in Public Health Policy and Political Science and a minor in Medical Sociology. Prior to law school, Ryan worked with health policy teams at both the state and national level to expand access to healthcare and increase COVID-19 vaccination rates in underserved communities. While at Notre Dame he is an active member of First-Generation Professionals, the American Constitutional Society, and serves as treasurer of the Health Law Society. Ryan spent his 1L summer with the City of Cleveland’s Department of Law, and as an Honors Scholar studying international business law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany. In his free time Ryan loves cooking, playing soccer, and exploring different parts of Michiana.
