Andrew Franklin

Andrew Franklin hails from Oak Park, Illinois, but moved all over the country growing up. He did his formative middle and high school years in Ellicott City, Maryland before attending Duke where he studied political science. Before law school, Andrew worked for a non-profit in Durham-Chapel Hill, North Carolina doing homelessness alleviation and affordable housing advocacy. He also got a masters degree in religion from Yale Divinity School. He did his 1L summer at Quarles & Brady LLP in Chicago. He plans to work in private practice in Chicago upon graduation. Andrew, unfortunately, was at Game 6 of the NLCS in 2003 where Steve Bartman interfered with a crucial catch. Andrew, fortunately, was at Duke for Coach K’s 903rd win (making him the greatest men’s coach ever), and the 2015 National Championship win against Wisconsin.
