Joseph is originally from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He attended Eastern New Mexico University and graduated summa cum laude with a double-major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. While an undergraduate, Joseph was appointed by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to serve on ENMU’s Board of Regents. During his 1L summer, Joseph was a law clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico; and during his 2L summer, Joseph was a Summer Associate at Modrall Sperling in Albuquerque, NM. Following law school, Joseph will be clerking for Chief Judge William Johnson on the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. In his free time, Joseph enjoys hiking (preferably in the mountains), spending time with family, and cooking.
